One of the geat attractions of booking a silhouette artist is the opportunity to modify his work to fit with the theme of your event. One of the best ways to do this is to play with the card on which the artists mounts his silhouettes. Here are some examples of cards we have made for previous clients (the silhouettes in the middle are fictitious!) which will serve to indicate the range of possibilities. These cards are particularly suitable for product launches, trade fairs, and other events where the emphasis in on raising your corporate profile. We also use them to goood effect for weddings and other special events, where the date needs to be recorded.

Cards made for both The National Gallery, and the National Portrait Gallery, both of whom have booked silhouette artists on more than one occassion.

The National Portrait Gallery event was their 150th anniversary celebration. Many celebrities were invited, and quite a few now have their silhouette in a card like this!

As can be seen the cards are quite versatile, and we always try to find a way of fitting in with the spirit of your event. In general, the more colours are used, the more expensive the card.

Sometimes clients prefer to print their own cards, which is fine by us. We are happy to provide samples of previously used cards, and templates if necessary, all as part of the service in planning your event.

Weddings

A collection of cards made for weddings, with the silhouette of the bride and groom appearing on the front of the card, together with the date of the wedding inside. These cards are usuallu printed in either gold or silver, and add enormously to the sentimental value of the silhouettes cut on the day in future years!

If you don't need a card printed/

Custom backing cards are not appropriate for every event. Here is a collection of our standard Roving Artist cards in various sizes. They are printed in gold and black onto ivory coloured card.

These are the cards we use as standard if you don't wish to have your own card printed. Best of all, they're free when you book one of us for your event!

Technical Stuff

Cards are printed using Pantone spot colours, usually on white card. To prepare a card for your event we need to have a copy of your logo, preferably attached to an e-mail. For single colours high resolution bitmaps are OK, otherwise EPS files are the best. Send any additional wording in the body of the e-mail. We will then prepare your card and e-mail a proof Acrobat PDF file for your approval, together with a quote. Ideally we need a full working week for printing after your go-ahead.
