LIFE DRAWING IS AN ESSENTIAL artistic practice and was for many years integral to my work as an artist. For many years I ran a Mays Barn life drawing group in my studio for local artists. All these drawings come from those sessions.
I do less life drawing now than I used to, but still enjoy it when I get the chance.
Until recently my studio was full of folders containing many thousands of drawings, but I cleared it out and gave most of them away shortly before lockdown. Here are a few of my favourites, drawn and painted over many years
